Discover the Earth's History with Paleontologas App
Paleontologas is an Android application designed for individuals who want to learn about the Earth's history and the surrounding world. The application is developed by Edgar Žigis, a biology and computer science student from Lithuania. The app offers users a wide range of features, including 15 geological periods with detailed information about the most important events, interactive paleomaps, images, and life form information. Additionally, there are 128 plants and animals with brief descriptions and facts.
The app is user-friendly and provides simple, but actual information, suitable for both ordinary persons and university students. Users can test their knowledge with the quiz feature consisting of 325 questions that help to strengthen their knowledge. The learning progress meters are also available near each geological period and eon, ranging from 0-100%. Furthermore, the app allows users to zoom in on pictures by moving fingers down or pinching with them. The app does not need an internet connection and can be freely used for teaching purposes without ads.
